My fellow Americans, the state of the union is not that great. It definitely looks like there is something wrong. It’s kind of stinky and it appears to be rotting away at the root. The cause could be root maggots, or possibly from poor handling and the piercing of the protective layers of skin, and then air introduced a bacteria into it.

Wait, this is the state of the onion. It’s in the crisper of my work refridgerator, and it looks bad.

Although, from the incessant complaining I see on news websites across the web, no matter what your party, you pretty much always feel this way.

As for the state of the union, personally, I think union looks more like how the word onion should be spelled. I mean, you don’t turn things from off to un do you?

Maybe if you live in North Dakota. They have cute accents up there, yah y’betch yah.
